Crusoe Energy Systems LLC announced today a new collaboration with XCL Resources LLC to deploy Crusoe’s flare technology in Utah’s Uinta Basin.
Under an agreement with XCL, Crusoe will use its Digital Flare Mitigation technology to add 6 MMcf/d of XCL’s production in the Uinta.
Crusoe said its equipment, running at full capacity, is expected to reduce equivalent CO2 emissions by up to 273,000 tons per year, equivalent to taking 60,000 cars off the road for a year.
The project is projected to bring more than 100 jobs consisting of both short- and long-term construction and operational employment opportunities to the basin.
