Western Lakota Energy Services Inc. announced the closing of the purchase of 100% of the common shares of 959271 Alberta Ltd. ("959271") from the Metis Nation of Alberta Association. The purchase price of $5,974,000 was paid for by the issuance of 244,000 common shares of Western Lakota and the transfer of 568,000 units of Akuna Drilling Trust which were owned by Western Lakota.
