Hess, Sinochem Ink Deal For Chinese Shale Exploration, Development

China's Sinochem Group and U.S.-based Hess Corp. signed a preliminary deal to cooperate in exploring and developing oil and gas, in particular the shale gas, announced Sinochem Group on Sunday.

Sinochem said on its website that the two companies agreed to make a further cooperation in exploring and developing shale gas in onshore China.
