Amazing Energy Oil and Gas Co. gave recent results from its Pecos County, Texas, property in the Permian Basin on July 27.
Reese Pinney, COO, said that the No. 21 well was successfully drilled and logged on July 15, and had casing cemented to a depth of 1,999 ft.
He said the well was targeting the Queen Sand, which was the same reservoir where the company refined its completions practices. The No. 21 well logged a thickness of about 40 ft in the oil-productive reservoir, which is the same pay zone in the more recent and successful wells on the property.
Pinney also said that the company plans to begin a reentry and workover program on up to six wells in the next 30 to 60 days using the newly developed completions technology.
