Description

IHS Markit reported that Oklahoma City-based Devon Energy Corp. completed two horizontal Bone Spring wells in the Lea County, N.M., portion of the Delaware Basin in Sand Dunes Field. The #1H Stray Cat 8 Federal Com flowed 1.289 Mbbl of oil, 1.561 MMcf of gas and 869 bbl of water daily from acid- and fracture-stimulated Second Bone Spring perforations at 10,602-14,987 ft. It was drilled to 15,203 ft, 10,450 ft true vertical and bottomed a mile to the north in Section 8-23s-32e. The bottomhole of #1H Stray Cat is just east of Devon’s #2H Boundary Raider 6 Federal, which was completed flowing 1.073 Mbbl of oil, 1.2 MMcf of gas and 601 bbl of water per day. Production is from acid- and fracture-treated perforations in Bone Spring at 10,850-15,332 ft. The venture was drilled to 15,445-ft, 10,416 ft true vertical.
