On the northern shelf of the Anadarko Basin, a Chesapeake Operating Inc. completion initially flowed 990 bbl. of oil, 772,000 cu. ft. of gas and 892 bbl. of water per day from Mississippi Lime. The #1H Knight 1-28-15 is in Section 12-28n-15w of Woods County, Okla. The well was horizontally drilled northward to a bottomhole in Section 1-28n-15w and produces from an acidized- and fracture-stimulated zone between 5,364-10,316 ft. The 10,447-ft. well has a true vertical depth of 4,994 ft.
2. SandRidge Exploration & Production 01/03/2013
According to IHS Inc, SandRidge Exploration & Production LLC completed a horizontal well in Grant County, Okla. The #1-30HX Noemi is in Section 30-27n-5w and was tested pumping 853 bbl. of oil with 1.68 million cu. ft. of gas and 548 bbl. of water daily from Mississippi Lime at 5,228-9,130 ft. and Mississippi chat at 9,204-9,359 ft. The well was drilled to 9,463 ft. Additional information is not currently available. SandRidge is based in Oklahoma City.
3. Chesapeake Operating Inc. 11/28/2012
Chesapeake Operating Inc. has completed three new producers in on the Anadarko Basin’s northern shelf in Woods County, Okla. The #1H Herold 3-28-15 is in Section 3-28n-15w and produced 1,218 bbl. of oil, 754,000 cu. ft. of gas and 1,583 bbl. of water per day. The venture was drilled to 9,847 ft. (5,056 ft. true vertical) and was acidized and fractured at 5,180-9,726 ft. in Mississippi Lime. In Section 3-28n-15w, #1H HLC 3-28-15 was completed with an initial pumping potential of 624 bbl. of 29-degree-gravity oil, 443,000 cu. ft. of gas and 1,010 bbl. of water daily. Production is from a parallel north lateral that was perforated, acidized and fracture stimulated at 5,300-9,771 ft. The well was drilled to 9,899 ft. and the true vertical depth is 5,076 ft. The #1H McCracken 3-28-15 is in Section 3-28n-15w. It was completed in a north lateral in Mississippi Lime at 5,250-9,777 ft. Initial production was 498 bbl. of oil with 555,000 cu. ft. of gas and 1,021 bbl. of water per day. The venture was drilled to 9,877 ft., 5,074 ft. true vertical. Chesapeake is based in Oklahoma City.
4. Triple Diamond Energy 08/21/2012
Triple Diamond Energy Operating LLC completed a Mississippi Lime well in Kay County, Okla., that initially flowed 614 bbl. of 42-degree-gravity API oil with 1 million cu. ft. of gas and 4,313 bbl. of water per day. The #21-1H Hofmeister is in Section 21-26n-1e in Autwine Field and was drilled to 8,313 ft., 4,260 ft. true vertical. The venture produced from perforations between 7,238-7,480 ft. after eight stages of acidizing and slick water fracturing. Triple Diamond Energy’s headquarters are in Dallas, Texas.
5. SandRidge Exploration & Production 08/06/2012
A SandRidge Exploration & Production LLC exploratory test initially flowed 803 bbl. of oil, with 3.41 million cu. ft. of gas and 8,303 bbl. of water daily. The well, #1-34H Churchill in Section 34-27n-11w of Alfalfa County, Okla., was horizontally drilled northward and completed at 5,560-9,775 ft. in Mississippi lime and Mississippi chat The Oklahoma City-based company’s well was completed following acid treatment and fracturing. The measured and true vertical depths are 9,920 ft. and 5,373 ft., respectively. SandRidge’s new well is just the second horizontal test completed to date in this township on the Anadarko Basin’s northern shelf.
6. Nadel & Gussman LLC 03/23/2012
Nadel & Gussman LLC, Tulsa, announced a record initial production rate completion from a Mississippi Lime well in Osage County, Okla. The #1A-11H Bend South pumped 402 bbl. of 46-degree-gravity oil with 526,000 cu. ft. of gas and 2,336 bbl. of water per day. The producer is in Section 11-23n-3e and flows from fracture-stimulated Mississippi Lime perforations between 7,332 and 8,256 ft. Drilled to 8,290 ft., the western Cherokee Basin prospect has a south-southwest lateral extending to a true vertical depth of 3,904 ft. at a bottomhole in Section 14-23n-3e.
7. SandRidge Exploration & Production 03/22/2012
A SandRidge Exploration & Production horizontal producer in Grant County, Okla., flowed 410 bbl. of 40-degree-gravity oil, 1.19 million cu. ft. of gas and 1,809 bbl. of water. The #1-17H Arnold is in Section 17-27n-8w and produces from Mississippi Lime from an acidized and fracture-stimulated lateral at 5,461-9,720 ft. The lateral extends northward to a bottomhole in the same section. Gauged on a 64/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 140 psi. The Cherokita Trend venture was drilled to 9,841 ft., with a true vertical depth of 5,274 ft. SandRidge is based in Oklahoma City.
