Houston-based Trendsetter Engineering Inc. was awarded a contract by Woodside Energy to provide several subsea manifolds to support Woodside’s deepwater Trion development off Mexico’s coast, according to a Dec. 18 press release.
“We could not be more proud that Woodside and their partner, Pemex, have selected Trendsetter to supply this equipment,” Tony Matson, vice president of projects at Trendsetter, said in the press release.
The announcement follows Trendsetter’s equipment deliveries for Woodside’s Shenzi North project featuring manifolds with foundations, several jumpers and connection systems and the industry’s first subsea deepwater high integrity pressure protection systems to be installed in the Gulf of Mexico, the release added.
Trendsetter’s scope of work includes engineering, design, manufacturing and installation support of its TCS subsea connectors for production and gathering systems, production and injection manifolds and foundations, the release stated.
