Gulf Coast Western Energy Services is a subsidiary formed by Gulf Coast Western LLC to provide well completion and operational safety services, the parent company said Aug. 17.
Gulf Coast Western Energy Services provides oilfield spill and frack tank containment systems, water transfer, flowback water recovery services, well cleanup services, onsite Cold Clean equipment cleaning services and high-pressure pipe restraints. It focuses on the Marcellus, Utica and areas in South and West Texas.
In the Cold Clean process, the Coldjet patented technology uses CO2 rather than water or foam to clean worksite equipment, eliminating residual water.
The subsidiary was formed through the acquisitions of Midland, Texas-based Frac Restraints LLC in late 2014 and Weatherford, Texas-based CND Energy Services in early 2015. It has facilities in Midland, San Angelo, Texas, and Pittsburgh.
“Combining the established operations of Frac Restraints and CND Energy Services with the depth of industry knowledge and the financial resources of Gulf Coast Western has allowed us to expand our services and strengthen our position as a strong regional player in the industry,” said Stephen Claybourn, president of Gulf Coast Western Energy Services.
Gulf Coast Western and its subsidiary are both based in Dallas.
