John Hines will be retiring as director of business development for the Permian Basin and Midcontinent at Occidental Petroleum Corp. (OXY) on Sept. 15, he said Aug. 23.
Hines has 41 years of work experience with Royal Dutch Shell (RDS.A), Altura and Occidental.
Hines also said that Scott Parkison, who is currently director of business development, will replace him in the role, and that Parkison will report directly to Michael Ure, who is vice president-M&A.
Occidental Petroleum Corp. is based in Houston.
