Inspectorate opened a new office in the Midland and Odessa, Texas, area, to provide hydrocarbon testing and measurement for Permian Basin customers, Bureau Veritas Group said July.
Services provided by the inspection, sampling and testing company will include sampling and gauging, terminal inventories, key point crude testing, field measurement services, meter installations, calibration and repairs, mud pit evaluations and water draws. Staff will be trained to pack and ship samples.
Fred Hutchings, senior vice president for commodities at Bureau Veritas, said the new office is part of the group’s expansion into the upstream sector, and said the new office is a one-stop shop for full-scope product analysis.
