Christopher L. Nines stepped down as CFO of Forestar Group Inc. on Sept. 30, the company said Oct. 2.
The board of directors appointed Charles D. Jehl as CFO. Currently, he is executive vice president – oil and gas. Jehl was chief accounting officer from 2006 to 2013, Forestar said. Prior to joining the company, he was COO and CFO of Guaranty Insurance Services Inc.
Phillip J. Weber, CEO, said Jehl has more than 24 years’ experience in financial management and leadership.
Forestar Group Inc. is based in Austin, Texas. Its oil and gas segment includes about 935,000 net acres of oil and gas mineral interests, 590,000 acres of fee ownership and about 345,000 net acres of leasehold interests across the U.S.
