Trican Well Service Ltd. announces that Don Luft, president and COO, retired as an officer and director of the company effective May 3, the company said that day. His position as COO will not be replaced, and Dale Dusterhoft will become president and CEO.
Luft will also not be standing for re-election as a director at the upcoming annual meeting, the company added.
The company said Luft helped transform Trican from a private entity into a public company in 1996, helping its success and growth since that time.
Trican Well Service Ltd. is based in Calgary, Alberta.
