Ukrainian oil and gas company Naftogaz of Ukraine and U.S. supermajor ExxonMobil Corp. have signed a memorandum of cooperation to explore unconventional resources in Ukraine.
According to a statement by Ukraine's Energy and Coal Industry Ministry, the companies plan to analyze reserves of coal bed methane, shale gas, tight gas and other unconventional resources.
