Drilling Activity Summary

Description

A directional Bone Spring discovery was announced by RKI Exploration & Production LLC in New Mexico’s Forehand Ranch Field. Located in Section 15-23s-27e of Eddy County, the Delaware Basin venture, #1 Sandia Fee, flowed 231 bbl of oil, 1.067 MMcf of gas and 2.373 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations at 5,768-8,970 ft. Drilled to 9,720 ft, it bottomed to the southeast at a true vertical depth of 9,259 ft. Tested on a 51/54-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 475 psi. Tulsa-based RKI assumed operations of #1 Sandia Fee in 2016, two years after the well was drilled by Mack Energy.
