Nine Energy Service Inc’s. completion tool division and GEODynamics Inc. said Aug. 18 that they entered an agreement under which Nine is the exclusive provider in North America of GEODynamics' FracDock intervention-free frack system and the GEOBall dissolvable ball.
FracDock minimizes coiled tubing well intervention procedures while replacing frack plugs during plug and perf operations. With FracDock, plugs do not need to be drilled out and there is less risk of premature plug setting. Operators can reenter the wellbore with coiled tubing or production tubing.
"Nine's well completions expertise and solid reputation is the perfect fit to introduce GEODynamics' most recent well-completion innovation to the North American market. As the industry seeks to reduce and save costs at every turn, we believe operators will be well served by the quality and efficiencies of this partnership," said David Wesson, president and CEO of GEODynamics.
Engineered solutions manufacturer GEODynamics is based in Millsap, Texas.
