Charles Moses will retire July 1 as president of Oil States International Inc.'s offshore products segment, Oil States Industries (OSI), the company said May 4. He will be a part-time executive adviser to Oil States International after retirement.

He worked at the company for 43 years.

The company also said Scott Moses will be appointed as president July 1. He is currently senior vice president of operations.

Scott Moses joined OSI in 1996. He has handled worldwide facility expansions, R&D initiatives and acquisitions. He has a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.

"I want to thank Charles for his loyal service and dedicated efforts throughout his career at Oil States. His leadership, expertise in product integration and initiatives to enter into the deepwater oil and gas market have greatly impacted and shaped the company that we are today. In addition, I'd like to congratulate Scott and give him my full support as he assumes his new leadership role," said Cindy B. Taylor, president and CEO.

Houston-based Oil States International Inc. Industries manufactures products for deepwater production facilities worldwide, and also provides land drilling equipment in North America.
