Description

Crescent Point Energy Corp. has received drilling permits for 18 horizontal Niobrara/Codell tests in its Denver-Julesburg Basin development program. The Anderson-Federal and Shull-Federal lease wells will be drilled from a common drillpad in Section 31-9n-59w in Weld County, Colo. Proposed bottom-hole locations are in Section 5-8n-59w for 10 Anderson-Federal projects and in Section 32-9n-59w for eight Shull-Federal projects. Projected depths range from 13,654-14,191 ft (6,001-6,283 ft true vertical) for the Anderson-Federal tests and from 13,426-13,795 ft (6,006-6,288 ft true vertical) for the Shull-Federal tests. The Calgary-based company also has locations staked for six horizontal Niobrara/Codell tests on a common drillpad in Section 31-9n-59w on its Shull-Federal leases, all with proposed bottom-hole locations to the east. No activity has been reported at any of those sites.
