Description

Anadarko Petroleum Corp. completed a horizontal Phantom Field well in the Loving County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, portion of the Delaware Basin. The #1H Sandbar 54-2-13 flowed 998 bbl of 44.5-degree-gravity oil, 3.094 MMcf of gas and 3.62 Mbbl of water per day from Wolfcamp. The discovery is on a 650.7-acre West Texas lease in Section 13, Block 54 T2S, T&P RR Co Survey, A-74. It was drilled to 16,340 ft, 11,718 ft true vertical, with the horizontal leg bottoming about one mile to the south. It was acidized and fractured at 12,066-16,170 ft.
