Mike Howard, CEO of Howard Energy Partners, was gracious enough to allow Midstream Business associate Editor Joe Markman to photograph his company's Live Oak Stabilizer in Three Rivers, Texas, as it started up operations in July 2014. The plant processes ultralight oil, or condensate, produced in the Eagle Ford Shale for use as gasoline, diluent for heavy crude oil to move through pipelines or in the production of petrochemicals.
