Pulse Seismic Inc. signed a CA$5.1 million seismic data licensing agreement for a transactional seismic data licensing sale, the company said June 10. The data concern the Deep Basin in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, the company added.
The agreement brings the total for seismic data library sales to CA$6.2 million, to date, for second-quarter 2015. Year-to-date seismic data library sales now total CA$7.5 million.
Transactional sales increasingly form a growing portion of Pulse’s revenue. Traditional sales declined on reduced field capex, the company added. Throughout 2015, Pulse will focus on transactional and traditional sales.
Calgary, Alberta-based Pulse Seismic Inc. provides 2-D and 3-D licensing and data to western Canada’s energy sector.
