Rockefeller Hughes Corp. provided an operational update on wells in Texas on July 3.
The Pryor #1H well in the former Halo prospect in Robertson County was completed and tested on Dec. 12, 2014, and initially flow-tested 305 barrels (bbl) of oil. Facilities were completed in January, and fracture stimulation of the reservoir was carried out in March to extend the well’s economic life. Since coming online the well has produced more than 6,100bbl of oil. Average daily production for the week of June 22 was 62bbl.
Acreage in the former Halo prospect was recently divested, the company added.
The Vann #4 ST horizontal well in the Silver Creek targets the Woodbine Sands Formation. The well was completed in early June and has been undergoing testing. Traces of oil have been detected, but more testing to determine economic viability will be needed, Rockefeller said. The well, currently being swabbed, produces about 200 feet (ft) of fluid per hour from the 4200-ft level.
