Southcross Energy Partners LP completed a y-grade pipeline connecting its Woodsboro processing facility to Southcross Holdings LP’s Robstown fractionator near Corpus Christi, Texas, Southcross said July 6.
The 60,000 barrels per day (Mbbl/d) pipeline connects to the Robstown fractionator, which handles 63Mbbl/d.
A 20Mbbl/d propane pipeline taking propane from Southcross’ Bonnie View fractionator to end-use customers in Corpus Christi was also completed.
These NGL pipelines were part of the dropdown transaction first announced in May.
The company said that the first of two Robstown fractionation trains are handling about 32Mbbl/d of y-grade. The second train is in the commissioning phase, and is scheduled to be operational in August.
John Bonn, president and CEO of Southcross’ general partner, said the pipelines were completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
Southcross Energy Partners LP is a midstream MLP based in Dallas.
