In the Spraberry Trend in Upton County (RRC Dist. 7C), Texas, Bold Energy LP has completed a horizontal Wolfcamp-Midland Basin discovery. The #1HM Bold Hamman 30 is flowing 1.483 Mbbl of 40-degree-gravity crude, 1.492 MMcf of gas and 3.306 Mbbl of water per day from fracture-treated perforations at 9,696-14,625 ft. The 14,801-ft well is in Section 30, Block B, CCSD&RGNG RR Co. Survey, A-1498. The true vertical depth is 9,359 ft, and the well was drilled to the northwest, bottoming in Section 29, Block B, CCS-D&RGNG Survey, A-25. The flowing tubing pressure was 760 psi during testing on a 25/64-in. choke. Bold’s headquarters are in Midland, Texas.
