Canan Mowrey Operating LLC has completed an oil producer in Hockley County (RRC Dist. 8A), Texas. The discovery extends Ace of Spades Field southward. According to IHS Markit, #1 Spade G Unit was tested flowing 71 bbl of 44-degree-gravity crude and 48 Mcf of gas per day from Strawn perforations at 10,097-10,102 ft. It was tested on a 13/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 190 psi. The operator drilled the 10,220-ft well on an 80-acre lease in Lot 22, Section 16, Howard CSL Survey, A-13, on the Eastern Shelf of the Permian Basin. Canan Mowrey is based in Wichita Falls, Texas.
