TAM International Inc. introduced the TAM PosiFrac Toe Sleeve for cemented or uncemented completions, the company said April 21.
Multiple toe sleeves can be installed in a well’s toe during casing pressure tests. The sleeves will open independently during the final casing pressure bleed-off cycle, making multiple entry points in the reservoir so the first stage can be fracked.
The sleeve can handle 18,000 psi and 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Its large flow area and debris toleration is compatible with standard cement wiper plugs and suitable for high-fracture treatments, the company said.
