Description
In Briscoe Ranch Field, Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. reported results from two Eagle Ford discoveries that were drilled from a single well pad Atascosa County (RRC Dist. 1), Texas. Located in Section 14, AB&M Survey, #1H Mercury 1H was tested flowing 484 bbl of 32.2-degree-gravity crude, 151 Mcf of gas and 2.06 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations at 7,661-19,697 ft. It was drilled to 19,805 ft, 7,743 ft true vertical, and bottomed about two miles to the southeast in Section 1744, I&GN RR Co Survey, A-456. The #2H Mercury 2H flowed 375 bbl of 32.4-degree-gravity oil, 138 Mcf of gas and 2.129 Mbbl of water per day from 7,625-18,967 ft. The horizontal lateral bottomed about two miles to the southeast at 19,095 ft, 7,715 ft true vertical.
