Description

Bill Barrett Corp. completed two Green River-Three Rivers Field stepout producers in the Uintah County, Utah, portion of the Uinta Basin. The #7-29D-7-20 Aurora-Federal, Section 29 of partial township 7s-20e, flowed 135 bbl of oil, 20 Mcf of gas and 308 bbl of water per day from Green River at 5,825-7,842 ft. It was directionally drilled northwestward to 8,040 ft with a true vertical depth of 7,718 ft. Tested on a 1-in. choke after acid cleanup and seven-stage fracturing, the tubing pressure was 150 psi, and the casing pressure was 1,280 psi. In Section 28-7s-20e, #13-28D-7-20 Aurora-Federal flowed 138 bbl of oil, 21 Mcf of gas and 242 bbl of water per day from 5,415-7,386 ft. It was tested on a 1-in. choke after six-stage fracturing and acid clean up—the tubing pressure was 450 psi, and the casing pressure was 100 psi. The Denver-based company directionally drilled the well 811 ft southeastward to 7,555 ft, 7,475 ft true vertical.
