Drilling Activity Summary

Description

IHS Markit reported that Houston-based Strand Energy LLC has completed two offsetting horizontal Eagle Ford Shale wells in the Zavala County (RRC Dist. 1), Texas, portion of Briscoe Ranch Field. The #1H Harris was tested flowing 317 bbl of 38.4-degree-grav-ity oil, 79 Mcf of gas and 480 bbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations at 5,825-10,956 ft. It was tested on a 24/64-in. choke, and the flowing tubing pressure was 215 psi. The 11,025-ft well is on a 914-acre Southwest Texas lease in Section 565, Anton Leitenberg Survey, A-1114. The lateral bottomed about 1 mile to the southeast, and the true vertical depth was 5,571 ft. Running parallel is the #2H Harris, which flowed 581 bbl of oil, 145 Mcf of gas and 625 bbl of water per day. Production is from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 5,757-10,939 ft. Gauged on a 24/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 220 psi and drilled to 11,014 ft, 5,555 ft true vertical.
