Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Two Warmsley Field-Cotton Valley workovers are planned by Houston-based Vanguard Energy Corp. in Alderete Delores Survey, A-52, in DeWitt County (RRC Dist. 2), Texas. The #1 Clark Gas Unit will be re-entered to 9,510 ft, targeting gas pays in Vaughn (Cotton Valley). It was originally completed in 2005 flowing 1.8 MMcf of gas, 12 bbl of condensate and 95 bbl of water per day from Wilcox at 10,370-10,879 ft. Most of the current production in Warmsley Field is from Vaughn at around 9,600 ft. To the southeast, #1 Green Gas Unit will target Vaughn at 9,750 ft. The Christmas South Field well was drilled to 12,433 ft and tested flowing 3.8 MMcf of gas and 49 bbl of water per day from perforations at 12,162-12,300 ft. A shallower Wilcox zone at 11,345-11,633 ft was completed in 2011. The #1 Green Gas Unit is the lone active well in the field. Production from a successful Vaughn completion would be placed in Warmsley Field.
