Description
In the Delaware Basin portion of Eddy County, N.M., BC Operating Inc. announced a Wolfcamp discovery in Forehand Ranch Field. The #1H Cass 16 State is producing 520 bbl of crude, 2.927 MMcf of gas and 1.893 Mbbl of oil per day following a 28-stage fracturing at 10,140-14,530 ft. Located in Section 17-23s-27e, it was drilled to 14,642 ft and a lateral bottomed in Section 16 at a true vertical depth of 9,791 ft. It was tested on a 30/64-in. choke, and the flowing tubing pressure was 1,300 psi. To the south, Midland, Texas-based BC has permits for two Wolfcamp tests, #2H Cass 16 State and #003H Cass 16 State.
