Wood Group appointed Vikas Moharir, Joe Sanders, Chris Strohman and Sharon Ramsey to assist with leading key functions within its asset life cycle solutions business for the Western Hemisphere, the company said Dec. 7.
The four are senior managers. Moharir will lead business development; Sanders will lead delivery assurance; Strohman will lead health, safety, security, environment and assurance (HSSEA); and Ramsey will lead strategic resourcing.
The Western Hemisphere business in the Americas designs, modifies, constructs and operates facilities for the oil and gas industry and other industrial sectors.
Moharir joined Wood Group in 2012 and has more than 30 years of global industry experience in upstream, midstream and downstream and industrial manufacturing. He has worked in process engineering, construction, operations, maintenance and other areas.
Sanders has been with Wood Group for 16 years, and was vice president of global engineering for the past seven years.
Sanders is a registered professional engineer in Texas, and founder and long-term sponsor of the Young Guns development program for employees new to the oil and gas industry, Wood Group said.
Strohman joins Wood Group as vice president of HSSEA for construction, maintenance and operations.
Prior to joining Wood Group, he was a global subject matter expert in contractor safety and other HSE areas for Royal Dutch Shell Plc (NYSE: RDS.A).
Strohman has more than 16 years’ experience, and holds board certifications as a certified safety professional and construction health and safety technician, Wood Group said.
Ramsey, who will handle personnel resourcing for the Western Hemisphere, has worked at Wood Group since 2013, handling talent recruitment and delivery solutions for the U.K. and Africa.
