Keith Zabela became managing partner of Burleson LLP’s Pittsburgh office, the law firm said Oct. 6.
He has managed the firm’s oil and gas title and rapid response due diligence practice groups for Appalachia since 2009, when the office opened. He also handled leasing, operational and transactional issues.
Managing partner Rick Burleson said Zabela helped draw in a top-tier roster of clients for the office, and broadly understands energy law and the issues and concerns industry companies are facing.
“These are tough times, and they raise a lot of issues that have to be managed carefully, efficiently and strategically. The attorneys in this office know how to do that and can produce results that are consistent with clients’ operational and financial goals. I greatly appreciate this opportunity to further build on our accomplishments and look forward to taking the firm to the next level,” Zabela said.
