Description

BP Plc has completed three Haynesville Shale-Carthage Field wells in the Angelina County (RRC Dist. 6), Texas. The #1H Gasosaurus Gas Unit was tested flowing 10.208 MMcf of gas and 300 bbl of water per day. Production is from perforations at 15,237-23,080 ft. The 23,477-ft well has a true vertical depth of 15,490 ft and was drilled about 1.5 miles to the south on a 960-acre East Texas lease in James R. Crofton Survey, A-149. It was tested on a 16/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 11,793 psi. About 1 mile to the east is #1H Saber Gas Unit and #1HB Saber Gas Unit. The #1H Saber Gas Unit flowed 13.3 MMcf of gas and 150 bbl of water per day from perforations at 15,915-23,222 ft. The offsetting #1HB Saber Gas Unit flowed 12.6 MMcf of gas and 150 bbl of water from perforations at 16,287-23,296 ft. Both horizontal laterals bottomed within 2 miles to the south.
