Description
A horizontal Wolfcamp well was completed by Contango Oil & Gas Co. in the Pecos County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, portion of the Delaware Basin. The #1H River Rattler 8-9 initially flowed 1.416 Mboe/d (74% oil) following a 50-stage fracture stimulation. The Hoefs T-K Field well has averaged 1.345 Mboe/d (74% oil). It was drilled to 20,710 ft, 10,437 ft true vertical, on a 647-acre West Texas lease in Section 8, Block 49 T9S, T&P RR Co Survey, A-8531. The 10,275-ft lateral bottomed to the east in Section 9. Contango is based in Houston.
