Description
New Century Operating LLC, based in Spring, Texas, has completed a horizontal Eagle Ford Shale well in Burleson County (RRC Dist. 3), Texas, at #1H Kubena F Unit. It was tested flowing 292 bbl of 32.5-degree-gravity crude, 65 Mcf of gas and 164 bbl of water per day. The Giddings Field discovery is on a 596-acre lease in Horatio Griffith Survey, A-124. It was completed in an acid- and fracture-treated zone at 7,058-13,485 ft and was drilled to 13,559 ft with a true vertical depth of 6,918 ft. Gauged on a 16/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 450 psi. The upper Texas Coast venture bottomed to the southeast.
