Description

Houston-based EOG Resources Inc. completed four long-lateral, horizontal upper Wolfcamp-Delaware Basin discoveries at a drillpad in Section 9-25s-33e of Lea County, N.M. According to IHS Markit, #701H Antietam 9 Federal Com flowed 4.288 Mbbl of oil, 7.722 MMcf of gas and 10.505 Mbbl of water per day from fracture-stimulated perforations at 12,628-19,623 ft. It was drilled to 19,735 ft, 12,448 ft true vertical, and bottomed to the south in Section 16. Shut-in casing pressure was gauged at 3,572 psi on a 42/64-in. choke. From an offsetting surface location, #702H Antietam 9 Federal Com flowed 3.429 Mbbl of crude, 6.686 MMcf of gas and 9.24 Mbbl of water per day from perforations at 12,711-19,592 ft. The 19,725-ft well has a true vertical depth of 12,378 ft. One-third of a mile to the east are #703H and #704H Antietam 9 Federal Com. The #703H flowed 2.83 Mbbl of oil, 7.383 MMcf of gas and 9.684 Mbbl of water per day from 12,708-19,715 ft. Initial daily potential of #704H was 1.537 Mbbl of crude, 2.858 MMcf of gas and 3.683 Mbbl of water from 17,972-19,554 ft. Additional testing information is not currently available.
