Midstream energy company Plains All American Pipeline L.P. published its 2022 sustainability report, the company said in a July 24 press release.
Plains’ chairman and CEO Willie Chiang said the company “achieved record safety and environmental performance” and that progress was made on other goals and initiatives.
“Our comprehensive 2022 Sustainability Report details Plains’ approach to delivering critical energy resources throughout North America in a responsible manner that optimizes long-term value and social benefit,” Chiang said. “Our sustainability efforts are rooted in our core values, align with our commitment to continuous improvement and are essential to our goal of being the investment, employer and partner of choice.”
The report also included a strategy for reducing greenhouse gases, an acknowledgement of increased diversity among both the workforce and board, an alignment with the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures and an updated sustainability strategy.
Headquartered in Houston, Plains All American is an MLP and publicly traded company operating midstream energy infrastructure.
