Description

Mewbourne Oil Co. completed an extended-lateral horizontal producer in the Delaware Basin portion of Eddy County, N.M. According to IHS Markit, #001H Wolfman 5-4 W0LI Federal Com flowed 826 Mcf of gas, 429 bbl of 49-degree-gravity oil and 2.976 Mbbl of water per day from Wolfcamp at 9,223-18,670 ft after 58-stage fracturing. Gauged on a 26/64-in. choke, the shut-in casing pressure was 1,725 psi. The Purple Sage Field well is in Section 5-23s-27e and was drilled to 18,783 ft, with a 2-mile lateral that extends eastward and bottomed in Section 4-23s-27e. The true vertical depth is 9,106 ft.
