In Section 6-42n-73w of Campbell County, Wyo., Ballard Petroleum Holdings LLC reported results from an extended-reach Niobrara discovery. The #21-6-7-NH Leavitt Trust LLC pumped 979 bbl of 42-degree-gravity oil, 1.072 MMcf of gas and 743 bbl of water per day. The well was drilled to the south and production is from a horizontal lateral that was drilled to 20,084 ft at a bottomhole location in Section 7-42n-73w. The true vertical depth is 10,625 ft. It was tested after 39-stage fracturing between 10,500 and 19,970 ft. Ballard is based in Billings, Mont.
