Description

Four extended-reach Niobrara wells have been scheduled by SandRidge Exploration & Production in Colorado’s North Park Basin. The wells will be drilled from a drillpad in Section 16-7n-80w in Jackson County. The ventures, #1-16H21 Janet 0780; #2-16H21 Janet 0780; #3-16H21 Janet 0780 and #4-16H21 Janet 0780 will be horizontally drilled southward to measured total depths between 17,846 and 18,236 ft (7,500 ft true vertical) and will bottom in Section 21-7n-80w. The common pad is about one-quarter mile south of a 2016 SandRidge completion at #1-9H Gregory 0780, the company’s first horizontal Niobrara producer in the basin. It flowed 550 bbl of oil equivalent per day (89% oil). SandRidge is based in Oklahoma City.
