Description
Bravo Arkoma LLC, according to IHS Markit, has completed the first horizontal Woodford exploratory well in a western Arkoma Basin township in Pittsburg County, Okla. The Tulsa-based operator’s discovery, #1-8/17H Persall, initially flowed 6.52 MMcf of gas per day, with 222 bbl of water on completion. It is in Section 5-3n-14e and was tested on a 64/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 159 psi. It was drilled to the south to 18,150 ft, 11,806 ft true vertical, and production is from fracture-stimulated and acidized perforations at 12,525-18,095 ft. There has been no previous Woodford production reported in the township.
