Oklahoma City-based SandRidge Exploration and Production completed a Niobrara well in the North Park Basin in Jackson County, Colo. The #1-3H Beaver Creek 0881 is in Section 10-7n-81w and produced 2.89 Mbbl of oil and 29.498 Mbbl of water in an undisclosed number of days in February. SandRidge has not released other completion details. It was drilled about 1.5 miles to the northeast to 11,204 ft, 5,285 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 3-7n-81w. The discovery is the first well drilled in the Beaver Creek Unit, which takes in about 11,000 net acres in all of parts of sections 3-9, 16, sections 21-7n-81w, 20-23 and 26-29, and Section 32-34-8n-81w in Jackson County.
