Description
Permits for 11 horizontal Niobrara/Codell wells have been granted to New Orleans-based Helis Oil & Gas Co LLC. The Laramie County, Wyo., extended-reach ventures will be drilled on multi-well pads. In Section 6-16n-62w, three Codell tests and two Niobrara tests will be drilled on the company’s 16-62-6-7 Sandberg leases extending southward to bottom-hole locations in Section 7-16n-62w. True vertical depth of the Niobrara tests is anticipated at 7,271 ft, while true vertical depth of the Codell tests is 7,472 ft. Measured total depths range up to 17,838 ft. In Section 31-17n-62w, three Codell tests and three Niobrara tests will be drilled on the company’s 17-62-31-6-7 Moore leases and will extend southward to bottom-hole locations in Section 7-16n-62w. True vertical depth of the Niobrara tests is anticipated at 7,281 ft, while true vertical depth of the Codell tests is 7,482 ft. Measured total depths range up to 17,909 ft.
