Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Petroleum Resources Management Corp. has applied for a horizontal Niobrara drilling permit for a North Park Basin wildcat. The #25-2V-H1 WPU (Welba Peak Unit) will be in Section 25-11n-89w of Moffat County, Colo. It will be drilled southwestward to 19,039 ft, 11,192 ft true vertical, and will bottom in Section 35-11n-89w. Plans call for a 48-stage fracturing between 10,415 and 19,025 ft in a Niobrara lateral. The venture is a horizontal re-drill of the Denver-based company’s #3-4 Duncan Ranch 11-89-36 discovery, which was completed in 2016 initially flowing 173 bbl of 41-degree-gravity oil, 360 Mcf of gas and 8 bbl of water per day. Production was from three fractured Niobrara intervals at 10,250-10,367, 10,587-10,671 and 10,972-11,011 ft. It was tested on a 48/64-in. choke with a tubing pressure of 137 psi and casing pressure of 378 psi.
