Description

Four Barnett Shale completions were announced by Houston-based EnerVest Operating from a drillpad in Newark East Field. The pad is on a 526.6-acre Fort Worth Basin lease in Wise County (RRC Dist. 9), Texas, in Green Buchanan Survey, A-319. All of the wells were drilled generally to the west. The #1H Springer-Dinger flowed 3.868 MMcf of gas and 1.035 Mbbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 7,806-15,871 ft. Tested on a 1-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 651 psi and the shut-in tubing pressure was 995 psi. It was drilled to 16,000 ft, 7,449 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Nathan Sweet Survey, A-764. The #2H Springer-Dinger flowed 2.375 MMcf of gas and 959 bbl of water daily from 7,809-14,164 ft. It was drilled to 15,518 ft, 7,438 ft true vertical. The #3H Springer-Dinger flowed 3.381 MMcf of gas and 789 bbl of water per day. Drilled to 13,426-ft, 7,509 ft true vertical, production is from perforations at 7,882-13,312 ft. The #4H Springer-Dinger flowed 4.901MMcf of gas and 628 bbl of water per day from perforations at 8020-13,645 ft. It was drilled to 13,770 ft (7,548 ft true vertical).
