Anadarko Petroleum Corp., based in Houston, has received drilling permits for six horizontal Niobrara exploratory tests in Weld County, Colo., in the Denver-Julesburg Basin. The ventures will be drilled from two drillpads in Section 31-12n-65w. They are the #12-65-31-6-2NH; #12-65-31-6-3NH; #12-65-31-6-4NH; #12-65-31-6NH Resolution-Federal; #12-65-31-6-6NH Resolution and #12-65-31-6-7NH Resolution. The six projects will be horizontally drilled generally southward to total depths between 18,319 and 19,001 ft with bottom-hole locations in Section 6-11n-65w.
