According to IHS Markit, Fifth Creek Energy Co. LLC has scheduled six extended-reach horizontal Niobrara/Codell tests in the Denver-Julesburg Basin. The Weld County, Colo., ventures – three in Niobrara and three in Codell – will be drilled from a multiwell pad in Section 20-11n-62w. The #211-2029H, 221-2029H, 231-2029H, 511-2029H, 521-2029H and 531-2029H Garden Creek will be drilled generally southward to bottom-hole locations in Section 29-11n-62w. Measured total depths range from 17,534 to 17,798 ft and true vertical depths range from 7,147 to 7,350 ft. The common drillpad is on the southeastern flank of Hereford Field. Fifth Creek’s headquarters are in Greenwood Village, Colo.
