TGS said Oct. 7 that through its wholly owned subsidiary Arcis Seismic Solutions, there are three new 3-D-3-C multiclient surveys that cover 580 kilometers. The surveys, called Kaybob-Bigstone 3-D, are in west-central Alberta near Fox Creek, the Asker, Norway-based company added.
Kaybob-Bigstone 3-D will expand TGS’ Duvernay coverage, the company added. The program will aid zone evaluation and development in the Duvernay, Montney, Swan Hills, Gething, Notikewin and Dunvegan areas, TGS said.
Arcis Seismic Solutions will process the data, and initial data will be available to clients in second-quarter 2015, the company said.
Industry funding supported the project, TGS said.
