Tyco International formed Tyco Gas & Flame Detection, a new operating brand of Tyco Life Safety Products division, to provide gas and flame detection needs for clients worldwide.
Industrial Safety Technologies (IST) companies Detcon, Oldham, Gas Measurement Instruments and Simtronics were combined with the Scott Safety’s gas and flame detection portfolio. Tyco acquired IST in February 2015.
Tyco Life Safety Products division will market through Tyco Gas & Flame Detection and Scott Safety.
