On the Eastern Shelf of the Permian Basin, IHS Markit announced that Halliburton Operating Co. has completed a wildcat in Dickens County (RRC Dist. 8A), Texas. The #1 Neaves pumped 56 bbl of 35-degree-gravity oil, with 56 Mcf of gas and no water. Production is from acidized perforations in Tannehill at 4,813-18 ft. It was drilled to 4,964 ft on a 163-acre West Texas lease is in Section 279, Block 1, H&GN RR Co Survey, A-146. Haliburton’s headquarters are in Dallas.
